[BAND'S SELF BIO]
The right kids finally. Trend setters ranging from hip hop to metal from funk to the color blue. We are dedicated to making this work. We love what we do, and we just want to get out there and promote our work. We are giving out our first effort to gain friends to come out support and party with us! We all have different backgrounds but have been tight friends since we were knee-high. Just trying to give a splash of something refreshing. Like a sprite commercial, but like, with instruments and like, dreds, dude. Radical. I guess. Will play anywhere at anytime. Hit us up.

[THRUST MUSIC BIO]
Jacobi Wichita came to life in 2006 in the wake of several succesful projects, (Athena Surrender, Defayo Jr., Etc.), all of which had pure talent and raw emotion. We first spotted these kids in our travels, having noticed them for their deep roots in their local scene and community. Everyone knows them. They know everyone. But they don't let it get to their heads. They're much too ADD/ADHD and busier philosophizing on being anti-brand, anti-product, and writing their next piece of music from their guts.

The kids from Jacobi lay it all on the line with every song they play, and they leave no doubt that they believe what they're putting out there. They live it to the fullest. Through watching these guys grow up as a band, you get the sense that they don't give a shit if they ever 'make it' by anyone elses standards, so long as they carve their name in the tree along the way. That sort of dedication mixed with incredible musical knowledge, and a desire to stand out from so many sheep-like bands, is what we are all about at Thrust Music.

After two succesful years bringing the house down at our Slamfest event, a partnership of sorts was innevitable. But don't buy into the hype, they are still the down-to-earth, DIY artists that they were prior to joining the team. Now they just have more resources along the way and a family of bands to call home. There's a lot of talk about projects we can and will do while working together. But for now, check out the tours pages, get on the mailing list, and get your ass out to a show where you should be. All the sales-copy will come later. For now, in true Norwalk style, get it, get it now, and let's get gone.
